Das International Cabaret Cottbus bietet an diesem unterhaltsamen Abend Auftritte internationaler PerformancekünstlerInnen, DJs und zahlreiche weitere Attraktionen. Das Programm deckt eine Bandbreite von Jazz, Musiktheater, chinesischem Pop und Rock, bis hin zur Stand-up-Comedy, Hip-Hop Tanz- und Dragshows von internationalen BTU Studierenden, sowie von GastkünstlerInnen aus Berlin ab.

Die Gastgeberinnen dieses Abends sind zwei Persönlichkeiten aus dem Special Friends Kabarett Berlin: Sir La Muse und Layana (www.facebook.com/sirlamuse) bringen ihre aufregenden FreundInnen Princessin Hans (Musikkabarett, www.princessinhans.de), James Harris (Stand-up-Comedy, Englisch/Deutsch, www.jamesharrisstandup.com) und DJ Miniskirt (www.myspace.com/candyramone) mit. Zusätzlich gibt es eine "fabulous"-Station und Fotobox mit dem Fotografen *AJ* und Alex Giegold (www.alexgiegold.com). Alle TeilnehmerInnen sind herzlich eingeladen, sich für diesen Anlass zu verkleiden! (Die Fotos könnt Ihr/ können Sie im Anschluss an die Veranstaltung erhalten).

Das International Cabaret ist Teil der Cottbusser Nacht "Wir für Demokratie - Tag und Nacht für Toleranz" und möchte einen einen Ort für kulturellen Austausch und Wertschätzung von vielfältigen Lebensrealitäten schaffen. Gleichzeitig wird hier ein faszinierender Einblick in die zahlreichen kreativen und internationalen Talente der Brandenburgisch Technischen Universität geboten. Eine Performance-Show die Vielfalt nicht nur zeigt, sondern feiert!

Description:

The International Cabaret Cottbus, presented by Special Friends (Berlin), brings you a variety of international performing artists, DJs and other side attractions for a full evening of entertainment. Performances ranging from jazz, musical theater, Chinese pop and rock – to - stand up comedy, hip hop dance and drag, performed by both BTU international students as well as guest artists from Berlin.

Your hostesses for the evening are the Special Friends Berlin cabaret personalities Sir La Muse and Layana (facebook.com/sirlamuse), who are bringing along their Special Friends Princessin Hans (cabaret musical group, princessinhans.de), James Harris (stand up comedy, English/German, jamesharrisstandup.com) and DJ Miniskirt (myspace.com/candyramone)! Additionally, there will be a ‘fabulous’ station and photo booth with photographers *AJ* and Alex Giegold (www.alexgiegold.com). Attendees are strongly encouraged to dress up for the occasion! The International Cabaret, as a part of the Cottbus We for Democracy – day and night for Tolerance, highlights not only the many diverse and creative international talents within BTU, but also creates a space for cultural exchanging and appreciation for diversity. A performance event to not only tolerate difference, but celebrate it!
